Timing Belts and Clutches, Handled Properly

Timing belts and clutches are two of the more complex jobs we handle regularly. A worn timing belt can cause serious engine damage if it fails while you're driving, so most manufacturers recommend replacing it at a set mileage or age rather than waiting for warning signs that may never appear until it's too late. A slipping or heavy clutch, meanwhile, makes driving difficult and uncomfortable and tends to get worse rather than better over time. Our mechanics have the experience to deal with both safely and efficiently, using the right parts for your specific vehicle and checking related components at the same time.

Repairs Explained in Plain English

We never assume you know exactly what's wrong with your car, so we take the time to explain what we've found and what it'll cost to fix before any work begins. That honesty, combined with fair pricing, is why so many local drivers choose us for their repairs rather than shopping around every time something goes wrong. We'd rather build a long-term relationship with you and your car than win a single job on price alone, and that means being straight with you even when the news isn't what you were hoping for.

Parts, labour, and timescales are all agreed with you before we pick up a spanner, so you're never left waiting for a call to find out how much a job has actually cost. Book online now for general car repairs in Gosport and let BAC Motor Services get your car back to its best.
